[New video range] Add a new camera to an old NVR

Modified on Fri, 28 Aug at 4:13 PM

Quick method without changing the network card or IP address

This method allows you to activate a camera and add it to the recorder without changing your PC’s network card settings or the IP address of any equipment.

Connect to your recorder through its Web interface using a PC or another compatible device.

Then follow the video and its instructions:

Connecting to the NVR

To access the NVR’s Web interface, the PC must be connected to the same local network as the NVR.

Connect the PC to the same switch or router as the NVR, using an Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi connection. Then check the NVR’s IP address and enter it into the PC’s Web browser to access the interface.

Example: http://192.168.1.100

If the PC and the NVR are not connected to the same local network, access to the NVR’s Web interface will not be possible.
