How to control a GIGAMEDIA PTZ Camera via the Web Interface
Control via the web Interface of the recorder
To take control of the PTZ camera, you need to select the camera view (click on the image broadcast by the camera, the image will be outlined in blue). This will cause a camera logo to appear on the right side of the page (outlined in red here)
Clicking on this logo will take you to the PTZ Settings
There you will find a directional wheel that will allow you to control the camera (the central button allows you to rotate the camera on itself).
The settings in the PTZ category allow you to adjust the speed at which the camera rotates. Zoom and focus allow you to adjust the image.
The settings in the Model category allow you to create points, to do this you had to place the camera in one direction and then click on the cogwheel this will create the point (the box will become framed in blue)
You can also change the name of the dots by clicking on the dot X box
When swiping, the camera will remain fixed for the time indicated by the second box (by default, it is set to 15 seconds)
The arrow positions the camera on the point and the cross deletes the point.
Once you've set several points, you can tap the play logo to start the scan.
Control via Web Interface of the camera
To take control of the PTZ camera, you need to click on the circle logo on the right side of the screen (outlined in red here).
By clicking on this logo, you will be able to access the PTZ settings.
Similar to the recorder's web interface, you'll be able to adjust the view using the ZOOM and FOCUS options, as well as the directional wheel.
In the Model menu, you will have several options to configure the camera:
- Default Cruise:
Rotate the camera slowly to launch this option is activated via the logo is stopped with the logo stop.
- Preset :
Allows you to create points and navigate to them, the number is used to define the ID of the point, the addition of the point is done by the most the deletion is done by the trash can and the arrow allows. Position the camera on the point (only works if a point is already recording)
- Line Scan
Allows the creation of two points via the scan area buttons, the left button allows the creation of the start point and the right button allows the end point.
You can choose between 3 speed High, medium & fast.
In cruising, the left (play) button is used to start the cruise and the right (stop) button is used to stop it, once the cruise is launched, the camera will go back and forth between the start point and the end point.
- Tour
Allows the creation of multiple tracks (up to 4). Each track can contain a set of prepositions (each preposition is linked to their track, for example preposition 1 of track 1 will not be the same as preposition 1 of track 2).
You can choose the change interval between prepositions (minimum 15 seconds, maximum 240 seconds)

You can record a path that the camera will have to reproduce, for the creation of this path you have to click on the play button in ENR and then create your path with the directional arrows once your path is created click on the stop button. Press the play button in cruise to start the patrol
- Restore
