Are GIGAMEDIA recorders able to connect via Wi Fi?

No, GIGAMEDIA recorders do not connect directly to Wi-Fi. They require a wired connection to the local network to function properly.

The NVRs must be connected by RJ45 cable to a switch or box to access the network.

Alternative solutions for a wireless connection: 

• Use a Wi-Fi Bridge: Connect your recorder to a Wi-Fi bridge that's connected to your network.
• Use a Wi-Fi access point in Repeater mode and plug your NVR  into the Ethernet port
